About

Alicia is a dedicated advocate who partners with clients throughout all stages of their case, including pre-litigation disputes and negotiations, discovery, trial, and appeals. Alicia litigates matters and provides counsel to support clients that are dealing with difficult employment challenges and workplace discrimination. Clients can count on Alicia to be compassionate yet tenacious, fiercely advocating for their rights and pursuing justice on their behalf.

Alicia earned both her bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Virginia. During law school, she participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic. Through her work with the clinic, Alicia gained experience briefing and arguing an employment discrimination case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, ultimately obtaining a favorable outcome for the wronged employee. After graduating from law school, she clerked for the Honorable S. Bernard Goodwyn at the Supreme Court of Virginia. Prior to joining LawrenceQueen, Alicia practiced at a large law firm in Richmond, where she gained experience conducting employment investigations from the management side.

When not working, Alicia enjoys yin yoga, playing card games with her friends, traveling, and spending time with her wife and their yorkie. Alicia is also an adjunct professor for the University of Richmond School of Law, teaching a legal writing elective focused on preparing law students to be judicial law clerks.
