As an Associate Attorney at LawrenceQueen, Scott specializes in employment law. Known for his attentive listening skills and innovative problem-solving, Scott is dedicated to fiercely advocating for his clients' interests.
Scott earned his B.A. magna cum laude in Economics and International Relations from the College of William and Mary, where his fascination with employment was piqued during his time as a labor market economics research assistant. He later obtained his J.D. cum laude from George Mason University, where he concentrated his coursework in topics such as Employment Law, Discrimination Law, Labor Law, and Gender, Sexuality, and the Law. During his time at George Mason, Scott served as a Research Editor for the George Mason Law Review where he honed his legal research and writing skills.
Admitted to the Virginia State Bar in October 2023, Scott brings a wealth of legal expertise to his role. Prior to joining LawrenceQueen, he served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Virginia Office of the Attorney General and gained valuable experience as a Program Analyst with the Department of Defense.
Outside of his legal practice, Scott is an avid outdoorsman who cherishes quality time spent with his family. Whether hiking, cycling, running, or tending to his vegetable garden, he feels most at home in nature.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Scott is deeply committed to community service. He has lent his expertise to organizations such as Equal Justice Works' Veterans Legal Corps and volunteered with ALIVE! (Alexandria Involved Ecumenically). Currently, Scott serves as President of the Richmond Association of Phi Beta Kappa, where he continues to make a positive impact in his community.
